SRTCo is Closing
The Slide Rule Trading Company will go out of business at the end of
June 2023. I’ve made a lot of friends through the SRTC but I’m getting
old (89 on June 30) and it’s beginning to seem like work. I never liked
“work,” so I’m quitting. All remaining slide rule parts, books, and
cases (everything except slide rules) will be half price in May and one quarter
price during June. I’ll try to keep the website up-to-date when items
sell out.
The Hemmi Catalogue Raisonne, both parts I
and II, will stay online for a year or so or until someone volunteers to
take it over. Ideally, I’d like one of my friends in Japan to manage
it and make it bilingual. There is no requirement to retain the present
format or, even, the name. There are several paper catalogs,
advertising brochures, etc that I will transfer to the new manager.
The Post Cross Reference is also looking for
a new home.
