The ISRM curator wishes to acknowledge the many supporters of the ISRM, who with their gracious generosity have provided slide rules (Physical Donors), scans, photos, manuals (Virtual Donors) and other artifacts, as well as gifts of money or saleable items (Financial doners) to share in the expense of operating the on-line museum, for the expansion of the galleries and to provide resources for our educational outreaches. Note that ISRM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit so cash donations are tax deductable. We especially want to thank those families (Heritage Donors) who have gifted slide rules and entrusted these heirlooms to ISRM that belonged to loved ones and have shared their life stories with the slide rule community.

Tier 1 donations are used to support the website presence and ongoing related expenses and to build public exhibits. Any excess may be used for new acquisitions. Specimens specifically donated for fund raisers fall into Tier 1. Funds from Sale of gifted slide rule(s). Cummulative Giving Key + $5+ donor $10+ donor $25+ donor $50+ donor $100+ donor $250+ donor $500+ donor $1000+ donor	Tier 2 donations are used to support the slide rule loaner program, to add to the galleries and expand exhibits. At the discretion of the curator, when duplicates are received they may become part of Tier 1 to finance shipping slide rules to schools and to obtain additional specimens. KEEP ISRM FREE!	Tier 3 donations are items entrusted by families associated with individials and become part of a permanant archive for preservation. These may be transferred to another institution at the discretion of the curator and may be used in exhibits. In rare cases, numerous duplicates of common specimens received may be used to support Tier 2, as long as there are other slide rules from that family so we can continue to honor the past owners.	Tier 4 donations are electronic files used to expand the knowledge base of the on-line galleries and my be edited, altered or discarded at the discretion of the curator or webmaster.
