Adoption Instructions

View the list of the slide rule candidates for consideration. The file has hyperlinks to the exact model shown in the gallery for your comparison. In most cases, the duplicate slide rule is as good or better than the ISRM archive specimen. Exceptions are noted.
- Make a list of the slide rules that you desire.
- If you wish to make a counter-offer to the recommended adoption fee, email the curator with your list and offer.
- Total up the recommended adoption fees for each item plus the shipping fee, and enter it in using the Secure Donation button on the right.
- Single and multiple small slide rules can normally fit in a USPS Padded Flat Rate Envelope (9-1/2" x 12-1/2") for $9.00
- Multiple 10 inch slide rules, up to 25 pieces, can normally fit in a USPS Flat Rate Box (11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2 or
13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8") for $18.00
- Please include your mailing address in an email or in the Paypal notes, as Paypal will not include it
- International Adoptions: Individual slide rules can be shipped outside the United States for $36.70 using a USPS Priority Mail padded envelope.

It takes a bit of time for the Curator to respond so, if for some reason, the slide rule has already been adopted, you'll be emailed to see if there is another slide rule that you want to rescue, switch to a direct donation, or get a refund. Personal checks are also accepted. Thanks for your support!
